Beyond the talks
Where the conversations actually happen

Live on board
Folk music from the Bavarian–Austrian borderlands
The evening is accompanied by live regional folk music, drawing on the dance traditions of Lower Bavaria and Upper Austria, performed by musicians rooted in the Viennese folk and dance community.
Expect warm hospitality, good food, and music that feels very much at home in Passau.
Performed by the Wiener Miniorchester — Anna Breger on nyckelharpa and violin, Johannes G. Schwarz on accordion.
The Conference Dinner is a separately ticketed add-on — grab one on the tickets page alongside your conference pass. Exact dock location, accessibility information and dietary-requirement details are shared with dinner ticket holders closer to the date.
Between sessions
Networking, breaks, and room to break out
The hallway track carries as much of the conference as the sessions do. Coffee breaks sit between every block, lunches are on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the poster session on Tuesday afternoon is built for unhurried one-on-ones.
If a conversation needs a quieter corner than the coffee area, the venue has smaller rooms you can duck into for a proper discussion. Ask at the registration desk and they'll point you at whatever's free.
