To the bottom – and back!

19 Dutch archives, one shared question: can we build an AI pipeline to turn uncatalogued backlogs into structured, accessible data — without depending on specific ICT suppliers? After diving to the bottom of the problem, the KVAN consortium found the answer. This talk demos the prototype, revealing how scan-to-structure automation actually works in practice and why collection experts remain essential at every step.
