Using Transkribus to bring community contributions into the HTR workflow at the Swedish National Archives

Millions of archival documents, transcribed by HTR — but with no way for users to fix errors. The Swedish National Archives is changing that with a pilot integration of its national search service (NAD) and Transkribus via IIIF. Users can now open archival files, correct transcriptions, and sync improvements back to the public portal — turning archival users into collaborators and generating valuable ground truth data in the process.
