Who Wrote What? HTR and Stylometric Approaches to Scribal Attribution in Christine de Pizan's Workshop

Who actually wrote the manuscripts of Christine de Pizan — and how can we tell? This paper combines Transkribus HTR with stylometric analysis (character n-grams and PCA) to distinguish between scribal hands in manuscripts produced in the same early 15th-century Parisian scriptorium. The results shed new light on collaboration, scribal identity, and the evolution of women's writing practices in medieval book production.
