Arne Vinck is a History student at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and a secondary school history teacher at the Sint-Vincentiuscollege Buggenhout. During his internship at the Belgian State Archives, he contributed to the PARDONS project by utilising Transkribus to transcribe and process16th- and 17th-century multilingual pardon letters. His expertise lies in bridging the gap between digital humanities and public outreach, specifically using AI and HTR technologies to make historical sources accessible for both academic research and classroom education.
