Aurelius Noble is a Senior Research Engineer at READ-COOP, which he joined in 2024. His work revolves around researching and developing new architectures for document transcription and understanding for Transkribus.

He has a PhD in Economic History from the London School of Economics, where his research focused on computational methods for creating Big Data from historical sources. In particular, focusing on tax and census records for the development of large, long-run datasets on wealth inequality and social mobility.
