Christian Lendl is a PhD candidate at the University of Vienna and a Research Data Engineer at the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities, Austrian Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on the nobility in the late Habsburg Empire, visual culture in Austrian newspapers as well as layout recognition and computational text analysis. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the Vienna University of Technology and an MA in History from the University of Vienna.
