He is a PhD candidate in Information Science at the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC, where his research focuses on Communication and Scientific Production, Data Science, Social Network Analysis, and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence applied to Data Extraction, Integration, and Visualization. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering and Knowledge Management and is an active member of the Research Groups "Modelagem, Inferência e Análise de Dados - Mind" and "Inovateia - Inovação, Gestão e Tecnologias para Organizações".
