Signe Rirdance is a doctoral student in Baltic languages at Stockholm University. Her research on 17th century translations into Latvian includes HTR of an early Latvian manuscript by Andreas Getzel. Signe belongs to the Swedish Graduate School of Digital Philology and teaches Latvian language courses at Stockholm University. For many years, she has taught Latvian language and culture to young heritage speakers of Latvian at the Stockholm Latvian school, and has researched diasporic language varieties.
