Dr Valentina Vavassori is a Digital Curator for Automatic Text Recognition (OCR/HTR) at the British Library. She is responsible for developing workflows for text, speech and music recognition and has particular interest for using ATR for enhancing provenance research, and collaborating with communities to create models for less represented languages. She is a member of the collective of the UK-Ireland DH Association and co-chair of the Working Group on Automatic Text Recognition within ai4lam.
