Giuseppina Gioia Gargiulo is a PhD student in Philology, Italian Literature, and Linguistics at the University of Florence, Italy. She earned a BA in Classics and an MA in Modern Philology from the University of Naples Federico II. Her research focuses on reception and translation studies, the interactions between Neo-Latin and vernacular literatures, and the impact of digital tools and methodologies on these fields. She is also interested in the development of HTR models for Latin and vernacular manuscripts and documents written between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries.
