Anna Saller is a linguist and research associate at the University of Regensburg, Germany, where she works at the Chair of German Linguistics. Her research focuses on language variation and change, with particular attention to language contact and morphosyntax. She completed her PhD on periphrastic tun in German-speaking communities worldwide and is currently working on the syntax of Early Modern German texts (1650–1800), including the use of digital methods such as Transkribus. Her teaching and research interests include language structure, usage, and language change across time and space.
